I agree with this point absolutely.

Always in history men have got a main language to be used in relationship among different cultures. In the Mediterranean area  Grieg and Latin are well known as our two mother languages. You must agree with me about the role of Latin as the main tool for Science understanding during centuries.

In the centuries of colonialism Spanish, French, German and English were in strong competition.

Finally we have English as our International way of communication. So, you can't apply for a job with international competences if you are unabble to  speak English fluently.
